We are pleased to announce our next event, a luncheon with Antonio Maciel Neto, President of Suzano Papel e Celulose S.A., on Thursday, September 17th. Guests are welcome, but numbers are limited, so please reserve early.

Speaker: Antonio Maciel Neto, President of Suzano Papel e Celulose S.A.
Antonio Maciel Neto is President of Suzano Papel e Celulose S.A. since june 2006, a board member of Archer Daniels Midland Company – ADM and Marfrig Frigoríficos e Comércio de Alimentos S.A. and member of the advisory board of the Instituto Ayrton Senna. He was President of Ford Brasil and of the South American operations, and vice-president of Ford Motor Company. Between 1993 and 1999, he was president of Grupo Itamarati, of Ferronorte Participações S.A. (Ferropasa) and of Cecrisa Revestimentos Cerâmicos S.A., president of the board of Ferroban e member of the board of Gradiente Eletrônica S.A. and Cecrisa. He also served as Secretário Executivo of the Ministério da Indústria e do Comércio, and started his career in Petrobras. He graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
Cost: Will be announced next week - apologies for this. Payment is due at the restaurant.
Presence: Given that we have to confirm the number of participants upfront to the restaurant, cancellations will be accepted with no charge until noon, Wednesday 16th. After that, if you confirmed your presence, or that of guests, we will have to charge you the cost of the lunch.
Mr. Maciel will speak in Portuguese.
