We are pleased to announce our next event, a luncheon with fellow alumnus Roberto Ramos, International Director of Braskem, on Tuesday 7th, October 2008. Guests are welcome, but numbers are limited, so please reserve early.

Topic: "Braskem's Investments in Venezuela".

Speaker: Roberto Prisco Paraíso Ramos, Vice President and International Director of Braskem, based in Sao Paulo. 
 

With the Odebrecht Group since 1995, he has held positions as Finance Director of Tenenge S/A and Tenenge UK; Managing Director of Odebrecht Oil and Gas Services Ltd. (Brazil and UK); Managing Director of Odebrecht Oil and Gas Exploration and Production (up to its sale to Enterprise) and more recently, Vice President – Business Excellence for Braskem S/A, Odebrecht’s petrochemical arm.
From 1996 to 2002, and representing Odebrecht, he was Co-Chairman of North Sea Production Company Limited, a joint venture with the A.P. Moeller Group in charge of the operation of the MacCulloch Field (North Sea) for ConocoPhillips.
Roberto graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with post – graduation studies at the Harvard Business School and further work towards being granted an Msc. Degree in Finance by the University of Leicester.

He will speak in Portuguese.

Presence: Given that we have to confirm the number of participants upfront to the restaurant, cancellations will be accepted with no charge until noon, Monday, 6th. After that, if you confirmed your presence, or that of guests, we will have to charge you the cost of the lunch.
