We are pleased to announce our next event, a luncheon with Jose Olympio da Veiga Pereira, Managing Director of Credit Suisse and Head of Investment Banking for Brazil, on Wednesday, April 16th, 2008. Guests are
welcome, but numbers are limited, so please reserve early.

Topic: "Capital Markets in Brazil".

Speaker: José Olympio Pereira, Managing Director of Credit Suisse and Head of Investment Banking for Brazil, based in Sao Paulo.
 
Mr. Pereira is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse and Head of Investment Banking for Brazil, based in Sao Paulo. He joined CS from Citigroup, where he was head of investment banking in Brazil and co-head for all of Latin America. Prior to that, he worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in Brazil, and spent a long period (1985-1998) at Banco de Investimentos Garantia, where he was head of the corporate finance area for seven years. Mr. Pereira is one of the leading investment bankers in the country, and has been involved in many of the most significant M&A, debt and equity transactions of the recent past, when CS has consistently led the IPO league tables in Brazil.
Mr. Pereira has a degree in civil engineering from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica of Rio de Janeiro and has an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
He will speak in Portuguese.
Cost: Will be announced next week - apologies for this. Payment is due at the restaurant.

Presence: Given that we have to confirm the number of participants upfront to the restaurant, cancellations will be accepted with no charge until noon, Tuesday 15th. After that, if you confirmed your presence, or that of guests, we will have to charge you the cost of the lunch.
